Yossef Fridman, CEO of the Svitland in Belarus and Lithuania, shared his opinion regarding the development of the real estate market in the capital.
Yossef Fridman, CEO of the Svitland in Belarus and Lithuania, summarized the results of 2013 and talked about the prospects of development of the residential real estate market in 2014.
Svitland Development Limited, a subsidiary of Israel«s biggest holding company, Fishman Group, has come up with an attractive project in the Belarusian market of commercial real estate. Since 2009, the company has been engaged in the construction of the first Belarusian energy efficient office building within the High-Tech Park (HTP). This project has been designed specifically for IT companies. The investors took into account their experience in the construction and management of similar buildings worldwide. Along with innovations, the Israel-based company has brought to our country its philosophy of doing business. Yossef Fridman, CEO Belarus and Lithuania at SvitLand Development Limited, told about it to the Delo (Business) Magazine.
According to statistics, we spend a third of our life at work. It is good if this time is spent in a comfortable environment. Recruitment specialists point out that many job seekers prefer companies having modern offices, even if other parameters in such job offers are not as good as those in the competitive offers.
There are not office buildings in our country, which can be can rightfully be called energy efficient buildings. Although the demand for such «smart» offices exist on the market.
Uruchye Microdistrict continues growing. For several months, the Capital Projects Division (CPD) of the Minsk City Executive Committee and Fishman Group, an Israel-based holding company, represented by Svitland Development Ltd., have been constructing a new residential cluster within the High-Tech Park (HTP). CPD of the Minsk City Executive Committee acts as a project owner in the construction of houses for the employees of the HTP resident companies. The Israeli holding company, in its turn, has started selling apartments in the Clever Park residential cluster to all comers.
Clever Park, a High-Tech Park quarter to be soon constructed in Uruchye disctrict, can be by right called unique, with no similar quarters elsewhere in this country. During its design engineering, the introduction of international standards for the construction of similar buildings in Belarus has become one of the milestones passed.
Yossef Fridman, CEO Belarus and Lithuania at the company, tells why CEO of the Belarusian office of Fishman Group changed, what the investor constructs in Minsk now, and what are the plans of the Israel-based holding company in Belarus.
Fishman Group has no plans to freeze the Clever Park construction within the HTP. On the contrary, in spite of the challenging economic environment, it is increasing the investment. The «Belarusian project» is one of the most important in the investment portfolio of the Israeli company and it was never halted even during the 2008 global crisis, when numerous projects in various countries worldwide have been frozen.
Construction of the High-Tech Park is one of the biggest investment projects that is currently being implemented within the Republic of Belarus. So far, the only operated facility of the Belarusian «Silicon Valley» is an administrative building located at 1 Kuprevich Street, with only wasteland and a couple of abandoned buildings of never-ending construction nearby... But soon the situation in the «Valley» will dramatically change. As soon as in a few years, this place in Uruchye will become a real mecca for IT sector employees.
